I have literally never written a podcast review although I’ve been listening to them since 2008, and love many shows, but I decided to after stumbling upon this show (originally through YouTube) since it is new and I noticed didn’t have many reviews and deserves to be heard. This is better than any other show about hip hop/ rap culture. The questions and answers are thoughtful and knowledgeable and don’t cover the same bland click bait-y topics that every other show seems to cover. After I listen to an episode of pretty much any other show in this category, I feel similar to having spent an hour scrolling through social media, a glazed over emptiness, having gained nothing of substance, and a waste of time. This show is different. There is so much knowledge within the hosts of this show that I feel like I consumed something of intellectual substance. Fine cuisine rather than a hot pocket.
