Drafted 30th overall by Pittsburgh in 2002, Kendall earned Rookie of the Year honours before being handed a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis that threatened to derail everything. He refused to let it. He went on to start all 20 games in the 2005 championship season and earn two Super Bowl rings with the Steelers. This episode covers his upbringing in Ripley, Mississippi, his All-SEC career at Auburn, what game days looked like managing diabetes as a 315-pound offensive lineman, the role Dan Rooney and the Steelers organization played in supporting him through it all, and what life looks like now.
