[Ben intros this episode as Arc 2 in the audio but due to the various complications of running a podcast (you should try it) we moved this series to Arc 3]
Hello and WELCOME to Arc 3 of Season 2 of the Relationship Road Trip! We're diving into parenting, but not necessarily HOW to parent. This time we're covering how to survive BEING a parent, how it changes the relationships around you, and later in the arc, we'll get into different types of parent-child relationships.

    Who's REALLY Driving?

    Who's REALLY Driving?

Heyo Drivers, this week's episode is a bit on the long side, y'all can blame Ben for that. Don and Kym let him into the driver's seat and...well...let's just say there's an above-average number of goofy stories in this episode. Tune in and learn about Ben's Great Toothpaste Adventure, the "right" way to do things (yes, all things), and maybe learn a thing or two about emotional labor.

    Juggling Knives

This week on The Relationship Road Trip, the crew discusses divorce. Spoiler: it's like juggling knives - you can catch them by the handles or by the blades, but we recommend the handles.

    High Mileage

This week on The Relationship Road Trip, we discuss the challenges of dealing with aging parents, perhaps while also managing a career, kids, and other pressures. As Don says in the episode, it can be a challenging time, but also a time full of opportunities.

Really thoughtful and fun

I love hearing the three perspectives on the show - combined they give you thoughtful, interesting, sometimes very funny ideas about ways to improve all the various relationships in your life (not just romantic!). Highly recommended.

Critical content and a great host dynamic

I’ve only just started listening to this podcast but have recommended it to so many friends already!

In these times of great stress and isolation, The Relationship Roadtrip brings one of the most important parts of our lives to bear, our relationships (broadly defined).

This podcast has helped me reflect on my own behavior (lol personal responsibility) and my relationships with others. All three hosts also bring their own distinctive experiences which helps to kick start my own imagination when I don’t immediately see how something applies to me. Don and Kim contribute both their lived experience and content expertise with vulnerability, expertly facilitated by Ben, who also provides a great foil for the heavier or more somber bits.
