Shaun and Tita catch up on everything that's been happening in the life of TRG.In this episode they share highlights from the men's breakfast that Ali hosted, what made this year's Good Friday service feel so different, and what went down at Resurrection Sunday. Tita also drops a little birthday update (she turned 40, and she has goals 👀).Coming into Term 2 there's a whole new line-up of hangouts including Zumba, Thursday Bible studies, a midday lunch catch-up, online prayer, and one that Shaun is personally very excited about — cheap eats. Plus a heads up on the kids holiday program and a shout-out to Ali's coffee cart running every Monday and Wednesday morning at 75 Everglade Drive.

    What's On This Week | March 15, 2026

    Pastor Shaun and Tita catch up on a big weekend and an even bigger week ahead at The Render Gathering. Tita went along to Pasifika Festival 2026 for the first time in a decade. She talks about what it was like seeing a whole new generation up on stage carrying the culture — the dances, the food, the energy of it all. We give some well-deserved shoutouts to Davina and Jemima who were out there performing, to youth leaders Mark and Han who always go out of their way to show up for our young people, and to Isaac whose team took out the Sean Johnson Cup finals over the weekend. On the events side — there's a car boot sale this Saturday at 75 Everglade Drive kicking off at 7AM. The Altara Scorpion Championship Team will be there selling mushroom rolls and baking. If you want to run a stall, reach out and we'll sort you with a form. Pickleball and fitness sessions are running through the week, and Hangout Term 2 registrations are officially open so if you're keen to host or join a group, now's the time. We also spend some time sitting with Sunday's sermon. Pastor Cliff spoke about sin — not the easiest topic, but an important one. The thing that really hit home was this idea that sin isn't just a slip-up or a bad day. It's actually an act of rebellion against God. That reframing changes things. But as Tita pointed out, every time the Bible talks about sin it also talks about the way out — and that's Jesus. With Easter coming up, it felt like the right word at the right time. The challenge for the week is simple. Don't just let Sunday be a top-up that fades by Monday. Let it sit with you. Let it actually shift something.
