    Making Much Of Your Marriage Milestones! ( A 10 yr Anniversary Celebration )

    MARRIAGE IS A CELEBRATION TO BE HONORED CONSISTENTLY! HERE ARE SOME KEY POINTS TO MAKING MUCH OF THOSE SPECIAL MARRIAGE MILESTONES IN YOUR LIFE. THE KEY POINTS FROM TODAY'S SHOW ARE :  - Often times our marriages can get put on the back burner . - Our parenting can take precedence over our marriage. This is a wrong order of roles in life.  - We must have our roles in order ( God , Marriage , Children ) - When we have a healthy marriage we have a healthy home.  - Our Children feel a sense of security when our marriage relationship is thriving . It gives children a sense of peace and confidence that all os well in the world.  - We should not neglect making much of our marriage milestones. Whether they be: celebrating the day we met , our anniversary, the day we chose to purchase a home , the day we made a change in our careers, etc. - Find creative ways to celebrate your marriage.  - Plan ahead : Create a vision for your next special memory with your spouse and begin saving little by little for the  financial aspect of your next trip. Plan ahead for baby sitters , a year out even.  - Make it happen !!!!  APPLICATION POINTS : - Put your marriage before your children ( make it a point to DATE your spouse ) - Evaluate What marriage milestones you have coming up that you could be intentional about celebrating. - Begin planning for your NEXT marriage milestone today!     Are you a 'MOMSTER'?

    WHY DO YOU YELL AT YOUR KIDS SO MUCH? What in the world has led you down a path of being short tempered with your children and when did you become this woman that you once dreaded becoming. Today we will cover the reality of how you may have arrived at this place and  practical steps you can take to break the cycle! After all , you don't want your children's memories of you to of a woman who is constantly angry and irritable.  We only live once sweet friend! Let's leave a legacy of gentleness and love.    STEPS TO TAKE : - LEARN TO IDENTIFY YOUR TRIGGER TIMES - SET A CONSISTENT BEDTIME - SET SOME ROUTINES IN YOUR LIFE AND HOME - IDENTIFY WHAT RESTORED YOU AND DO IT! - AIM FOR ONE ….. JUST ONE SELF-CARE ACT PER DAY TO START SOMEWHERE . HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES >>>  1- go get a manicure or pedicure and let someone take care of YOU for a change? 2- Don’t have cash? TAKE A WALK ALONE! ( get a baby sitter)  Meditate on the things you are grateful for during your walk ( this is physical , metal and spiritual self care ) 3- Give yourself a morning prayer / meditation time before you get out of bed and deal with your kids 4- Let the kids go outside and play and listen to a podcast or some peaceful music while you watch them play. 5- Set a quiet time in your home every day for yourself. IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE SOME HUGE RITUAL….. IT CAN BE 5 MINUTES OF SITTING OUTSIDE AND PRACTICING DEEP BREATHING.  APPLICATION FOR THE DAY: - EVALUATE HOW FULL YOUR TANK IS? - IDENTIFY YOUR TRIGGER TIMES DURING THE DAY WHICH YOU ARE MOST LIKELY TO DEAL WITH MOM ANGER AND PUT BOUNDARIES IN PLACE TO EQUIO YOURSELF FOR THEM ( EXAMPLE : I am most tired around 2 pm . If I have lunch done early for my children then by 1:30 I can lay the baby down for nap, give my 5 yr old quiet time in his room , have my 8 yr old finishing up her schooling and I can lie down for a brief 20-30 minute rest time .  Check out THE RESTORED MOM SIGNATURE SELF-CARE COURSE.
