The Risen Fallen Podcast

Mark Henriksen

We ALL fall down, together we rise. Whether you’re going through dark days, or have dealt with them in the past, or perhaps maybe they have impacted someone you love, we have all been impacted by mental health struggles in some way, shape or form. No matter what it is that you are going through, life can and will get better for you. We have all felt that same feeling of being alone in this world, when the lights are all out, and nobody else is awake and all we have is the voice in our head. The feeling that even with our friends, family, coworkers, teammates, bosses, coaches, and peers around us, that we are alone in this fight, and in this world. THAT SPECIFIC FEELING IS WHAT CONNECTS US ALL. We are together alone. Not only will it get “better” but I truly believe you can find the greatness that resides within you, and that you’ll spread it to others as well. I find it interesting to speak with business owners, hard workers, and inspiring people about the challenges they have faced and how they‘ve overcome them. Based out of Vancouver, I find it important to speak about some of the difficult things in life, and to encourage others to feel happier and spread the love!

The Secret to Real Progress: Build Trust Before You Chase More | Ep. #202

After shoulder surgery, I’ve been working with my physiotherapist on rebuilding my range of motion, strength, and confidence. But during one of our conversations, he said something that hit way deeper than just physical rehab.   He talked about the importance of building confidence in the range of motion I already have before trying to force more. In other words, my nervous system needs to learn that I’m safe, capable, and in control where I already am before it will trust me to move further.   And honestly, I think that applies to life too.   A lot of us are constantly chasing more. More success, more money, more discipline, more confidence, more growth, more progress. We want to expand our “range of motion” in life, but we haven’t mastered the range we already have. We want the next level before we’ve built trust with the current one.   In this solo episode of the Risen Fallen Podcast, I talk about why real progress often starts with slowing down, mastering the basics, and proving to yourself that you can be consistent with what is already in your hands. Whether it’s fitness, business, relationships, mental health, faith, or personal growth, confidence is built through repetition, small wins, and learning to trust yourself again.   This episode is about rebuilding your foundation, expanding your capacity, and understanding that progress should stretch you — not snap you.   If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, impatient, or like you’re constantly trying to force yourself into the next version of your life, this one is for you.   If you liked the show, help it grow!   Leave a review and rate 5 stars on Apple Podcast, and Spotify! 3   Reach out on Instagram: @RisenFallen   Check out my website: www.risenfallen.com
