    You just heard Vice President Vance say it plainly: we have been, and by the grace of God we always will be, a Christian nation. Not a theocracy. Not a test you have to pass to be an American. A creed. A shared moral language that gave us natural rights, duty to our neighbor, and the idea that the strong protect the weak. That foundation is why this country became a beacon of hope. And it is why the Left works so hard to pry church away from state, conscience away from law, and the people away from their own Constitution. If the church stays silent, somebody else will write the rules. That is not theory. That is what we have watched for years: mandates, speech codes, open borders dressed up as compassion, creeping Sharia law, and global arrangements that make life less affordable for the American worker. Today we’re talking about two pieces of unfinished business that every American who wears the uniform—or loves someone who does—needs to know about: Taking Care of America’s Veterans, and the Major Richard Star Act. Joining me live are two men who’ve lived the cost of service and are still fighting the fight. First, David Star. Retired Army First Sergeant. He served in secure communications, supported Secret Service missions, finished as a First Sergeant in the National Guard, then put in 25 years with the FBI. His younger brother, Army Major Richard Star, was the namesake of the bill that would finally end the Wounded Warrior Tax—the unfair offset that docks combat-injured retirees’ earned military retirement when they also receive VA disability. Richard died in 2021. David picked up his brother’s last mission and has not put it down. And William Brooks. Mississippi Army National Guard. Deployed to Iraq in 2005. On March 29th of that year a roadside bomb took both of his legs above the knee. Thirteen months at Walter Reed, then medical retirement. He’s been living the consequences of that policy every single day since. These two aren’t lobbyists. They’re the reason this legislation exists.     We Need Leaders with National Security Competence | EP 705

    National security competence is not optional for the people we send to Washington. You just saw that clip—national security knowledge is kind of important for a U.S. senator. Not a nice-to-have. Not a talking point. A requirement. Look at the world right now. Iran is still the chief sponsor of terror, racing toward nuclear capability and threatening our forces and allies. China is building the largest navy on earth and probing every weak point in the Pacific. Ukraine remains a meat grinder that drains American resources while the strategic picture keeps shifting.     Today’s title cuts straight to the bone: The Marxist/Islamist Revolution in Your Face: One Communist is one too many. It’s not theoretical anymore. It’s here, bold, public, and accelerating. In New York City, the communist mayor is pushing government-run grocery stores paid for by you, the taxpayer. Private operators get stuck with the mess while prices get controlled into the ground. History has shown us this movie before: empty shelves, failed experiments, and freedom crushed under the boot of the state. Worse, he’s now outright doxxing private property owners, publishing names and addresses of nearly a million New Yorkers who might face his new taxes. That’s not governing. That’s a Bolshevik hit list. Capital flees hostile environments. What made New York, and America, great was capitalism, not this communist seizure of power. And a potential Democrat presidential contender is openly arguing we should make it harder for families to pass on the wealth they earned. Call it what it is: communism. This morning brings another warning shot. Abdul El-Sayed has won the Democratic Senate primary in Michigan. Progressive darling, Bernie and AOC-backed, Medicare-for-All, abolish ICE, long ties to the Democratic Socialists of America, while claiming he’s “not a socialist.” One more Marxist-leaning voice advancing toward the U.S. Senate.
