    The Yukon Senior Games is coming to Yukon, Oklahoma on April the 10th – 18th, 2026 … it’s a 1980’s theme this year! The opening ceremonies are on April 10th with a big 80s festival! The opening ceremonies are free— free food, entertainment, and socialization. You can’t get more “RAD” than that! This is a very entertaining event and it’s all about community involvement—whether you are a competitor or spectator. It’s a great time to be social and move those bodies! Patrick Langley Patrick Langley is a Special Operations Supervisor for the City of Yukon Parks and Recreation Department, where he leads the planning and execution of major community events. Known for his creativity and commitment to public service, he focuses on building experiences that strengthen community engagement and enhance the quality of life for residents. What a HUGE positive response The OSJ Radio Hour got when we first ran the “Sherri Coale” Show … originally aired 4/19/25. Due to all the positive responses we were asked to run the show again so we are this Saturday on The Rise & Thrive OSJ Radio Hour at 9:05am on 96.9FM The Freedom Channel. Coach for 25 years and holds the record for the Winning’s Coach (OU Coach), and she brags on all the hard work of the winningest players with the OU basketball girls and Sherri along with the OU basketball girls put them on the map. Our very first question out of the shoot is what have you been doing since your retirement from girls basketball ? Well, Sherri‘s not just sitting around. She is out there making a difference still in other people‘s lives including her own. This is a tremendous interview and Sherri doesn’t hold back at all. You will Love this interview! Sherri Coale is a native Oklahoman who grew up about thirty miles to the right side of the Red River in Healdton, Oklahoma. In 1987 after a highly successful collegiate career at Oklahoma Christian, she hung up her high tops, moving from the court to the sideline as she began what would become a Hall of Fame career as a Women’s Basketball Coach. For 25 years, Sherri Coale served as the head women’s basketball coach at the University of Oklahoma where she is the winningest women’s basketball coach in OU history. Sherri is an author, a master motivator, an engaging speaker, a gifted writer, and a keen observer of everyday life.
