    Bill Norfleet of Brazito Coins is an expert in coins of all kinds. He has always been a history student and really enjoys studying and understanding the history of coins. Bill started collecting coins at the age of 6, and it grew into a passion to learn all there is to know about coin collecting. Some of the questions Bill answers on the OSJ Radio Hour include: How do I know if my coins are valuable? Pennies Nickels Dimes Quarters Half dollars Dollars Bill goes over these questions and many others related to coin collecting, trading, selling, and buying. If you find yourself in possession of coins that you have no idea what they are worth, the best advice is to take them to a reputable coin dealer and ask for an appraisal. Lately, people have been bringing in coins that the internet has convinced them are very valuable. Let an in-person expert—not the internet—who has been a longtime expert in the coin industry give you the right advice.     8-22-26: VIPCARE – Specializing in primary care for seniors

    This week on the Rise & Thrive OSJ Radio Show, we’re joined by Dr. Bryan Butel, a board-certified internal medicine physician with VIPCare in Midwest City. Dr. Butel discusses VIPCare’s unique approach to caring for adults 65+. Instead of the typical 5- to 15-minute visits common at many hospitals and doctors’ offices, VIPCare’s policy is to spend more time with patients. I went to see Dr. Butel in Midwest City at 1636 Midtown Place in Midwest City. (They have other locations including 1720 NE 23rd, with two more locations opening in Yukon and Norman.) At my very first visit, Dr. Butel spent one hour with me —how refreshing!. I was able to discuss each issue, and Dr. Butel asked me questions. In other words, he actually got to know me and addressed my health issues accordingly. Dr. Butel takes a holistic, preventive approach along with modern medicine. In other words, he gives you choices and goes over each one in detail. I can’t say enough good things about VIPCare and Dr. Butel. VIPcare will be our front cover feature story in the next Oklahoma Senior Journal issue on stands at the end of August, running through March 2027.
