    The OSJ Radio Hour as in The Rise & Thrive OSJ Radio Hour … Has a “back by popular demand” OSJ radio hour… in studio is originally aired 12/14/24 and due to emails, a phone calls and texts… we knew we had to bring this show back to our listening audience! It is a world  of information (especially after the holidays) where adult children, friends and those concerned with the well being of their parents or loved one. Most of what you will hear is FREE or very low cost! Interactive Companion Pet – Realistic & Lifelike… What is this ? We will answer that and more on tools for families or professional caregivers. This show is dedicated to those the care for others. Either you will be a caregiver or you will be cared for.     6-28-25: TRIAD – SSgt Tara Hardin

    What is TRAID and what does the Oklahoma County Sheriff Office have to do with this program? SSgt Tara Hardin Is in the OSJ Radio Studio giving us vital information on how to prevent fraud in your life and those lives of your loved ones. We will give a i depth explanation to triad through the Oklahoma County sheriffs department and we will also go on over frauds and scams that are currently out in the public, but of course is ever changing so the show is on prevention prevention prevention. Stop it before it happens to you or a loved one. Sgt Tara Hardin began her career with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office in 2011 and became the TRIAD Coordinator in July 2021.  The goal of Triad is to “prevent and reduce crimes against seniors” and as such she focuses much of her time and attention to prevention methods for the growing problem of scams and frauds targeting seniors.  She presents a new, in-person, monthly lesson at 22 locations around Oklahoma County including online and phone-in classes, offers guest speaking/teaching by request, and participants in as well as hosts events including an Annual Fraud Prevention Conference each summer in conjunction with the FBI and Oklahoma Insurance Department.  You can view her weekly “Senior Moments” crime prevention tips each Friday on the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Facebook page at OCSO911.     6-7-25 PROPERTY TAX FOR SENIORS-Julie Ackerman

    We are still having inquiries about THE PROPERTY TAX FREEZE FOR SENIORS! We decided the run the OSJ Radio Hour again to help continue to educate on this very wonderful program that seniors can claim and benefit from at age 65-Plus! Want to freeze your property tax once you are 65+? You certainly can in this program! This is not a marketed program… that’s why we did a OSJ Radio show on it. To my left is Julie Ackerman, who has become an expert in her field on the property tax freeze for seniors. She discusses all about it.     What a HUGE positive response The OSJ Radio Hour got when we first ran the “Sherri Coale” Show … originally aired 4/19/25. Due to all the positive responses we were asked to run the show again so we are this Saturday, May 31st on The Rise & Thrive OSJ Radio Hour at 9:05am on 96.9FM The Freedom Channel. Coach for 25 years and holds the record for the Winning’s Coach (OU Coach), and she brags on all the hard work of the winningest players with the OU basketball girls and Sherri along with the OU basketball girls put them on the map. For 25 years, Sherri Coale served as the head women’s basketball coach at the University of Oklahoma where she is the winningest women’s basketball coach in OU history.
