5-2-26: Integris Community Hospitals reaching across Oklahoma

Access to health care is one of the biggest challenges facing many communities across Oklahoma. In some parts of the state, patients may have to drive 30, 40 or even 60 miles to reach a hospital or emergency department!! When someone is experiencing a medical emergency or needs timely care, those distances can create real barriers. That’s where partnerships between leading health systems like INTEGRIS Health and companies like Emerus come in. Together, they’re bringing small-market neighborhood hospitals closer to where people live, work and spend their time. Listen in for an informative discussion with Carli Hicks, BSW, Regional Business Development Manager at INTEGRIS Health Community Hospital. We’ll discuss that these facilities provide 24/7 emergency care, imaging, laboratory services and inpatient beds, allowing patients to receive hospital-level care without long drives to larger regional medical centers. By locating high-quality facilities in the communities they serve, these hospitals help reduce travel times, shorten wait times and strengthen the overall health care network across Oklahoma. Ultimately, it’s about making sure residents have access to trusted care within minutes –not miles. Integris Carli Carli Hicks, BSW started her healthcare career 15 years ago. Growing up she had a very close relationship with her great-grandmother and that attributed to her wanting to help seniors in some capacity when she became an adult. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Social Work at Southwestern State University. Carli has been in Healthcare Business Development for 15 years. Whether it’s aches, pains, bumps, or breaks, the care you need is right around the corner. At INTEGRIS Health Community Hospitals, we offer short ER wait times, onsite diagnostics, and care from board-certified physicians. That means you can get the answers and treatment you need, without the long wait. The best part? They are open 24/7, with 4 convenient locations right in your neighborhood. So, when the unexpected happens, you know where to go for fast, high-quality care close to home. To learn more, Visit integriscommunityhospital.com.
