    133. Why Nervous System Regulation Isn't Solving All Your Problems

    133. Why Nervous System Regulation Isn't Solving All Your Problems

Today's episode is all about the common struggles of highly sensitive people and why simply focusing on calming techniques and nervous system regulation may not fully address the root causes of overwhelm and overthinking. Through personal experiences and client examples, I explain the importance of understanding the deeper reasons behind our struggles and how these are often interconnected with self-worth & the need for holistic healing and deeper self-awareness to truly address the underlying issues.

Digestible and relevant

Really love the host’s ability to chunk things down to shorter podcasts especially for us HSPs and makes this content so easy to understand and practical.

My daily peace space

I have been a listener of The Sensitive & Soulful Show since Alyssa started her podcast. Never in my life have I felt so understood AND accepted!

I am 51 years old, and, have always been told your too sensitive, you are so dramatic, you really need to stop being a bleeding heart! Overtime, I believed everyone: I wasn't accepting of myself; i over ate, which i finally am focusing on getting healthier; I overspent and still do; but I'm a work in progress!

How did I come to realize that I'm perfect the way I am, and, i am looking at myself and accepting myself more and more - this is all thanks to Alyssa's work and her encouraging, motivating self!!

Alyssa is such an intelligent and inspirational young lady who I look forward to listening to everyday! For the last year I have grown tremendously with Alyssa's calming voice and inspirational messages-i know I will get to a more confident, accepting me!!

Thanks so much Alyssa 💖
