The Silent Stage Podcast

Steve Sterlacci knows his stuff when it comes to guitar gear. He shares his knowledge openly across his many social media sites and gets into minute details without losing the listener/viewer. The name of his podcast, “The Silent Stage”, refers to the now common practice of not having guitar or bass amplifiers present on the live stage and “running direct” into the sound system using some sort of device, usually a digital modeler system. This method is used when musicians want to use in-ear monitors instead of the screaming loud and often troublesome floor wedge monitors. The Silent Stage technique is about making the music easier, simpler and more powerful by putting all the sound into the hands of the sound guy. No amps heard on stage. As I stated earlier, Steve has become an expert in this area and he talks with you, not at you or over your head. This podcast sounds fantastic. You can tell the equipment used to make the show is top tier. It is also most importantly a fun podcast to listen to and it is certainly informative. Five star review here, folks.
