Hosted and created by Nick Korth, and cohosted by Jeff Spies, we are here to be your guide as we bring experts in from every management level and every angle of the solar industry to do a deep but entertaining dive into the topics that are shaping the solar industry today. Our goal is to redefine how you look at a panel discussion, like more of a happy hour conversation, as we bring together our solar friends and experts from all backgrounds.

In this episode of The Solar Panel, Nick and Jeff chat with Mark Baldassari of Enphase Energy. We talk about a wide variety of topics currently surrounding the storage industry, including codes and standards, testing and safety, and what makes Enphase Storage products different.
Mark has over 40 years experience in engineering and product development and over 15 years with Enphase Energy, where he holds the position of Director, Codes and Standards. He actively participates in several Codes and Standards development groups both internationally and domestically. He is involved with the development of the National Electrical Code, product safety standards with Underwriters Laboratory, and international installation and safety standards. Mr. Baldassari has a bachelor’s degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering from California State University Sacramento. -

In this Episode, Nick and Jeff catch up with Bryan Amburgey, owner of Solarview, a visualization tool created to make the upfront sale of solar easier. After selling solar for many year's, Bryan gives us a history of the origin of the app, how it helps out they entire process of sales to installation of the solar system itself, and what to look for next. Bryan also recently received his General Contracting license and founded Evergreen Solar and Home Battery, and we discuss NEM 3 and the impacts its having on new and existing solar contractors.
