Soul Sides/Heat Rocks Mailbag Ep. 1

Soul Sides/Heat Rocks Mailbag Ep. 1

This is Ep. #1 of an informal mailbag series of mini-episodes prepped for Soul Sides and Heat Rocks fans. In this one, Oliver Wang tackles a pair of questions: 1) what were some of my favorite artists from when I was in college and 2) What's an example of an artist/album from a genre that Heat Rocks typically does *not* into? Thanks to Eric Peterson for the questions!

Back at it again!

This awesome podcast took a long hiatus but they're back at it and I couldn't be happier! Rare funk, groove, soul, latin.. so much good here. And such a great way to jump back into it.

More please!

Oliver Wang is a good interviewer with excellent taste. This show digs into some big moments in soul music, and some quirkily interesting small ones. Either way, it's both interesting and dynamic. I hope there's more to come!
