On September 11, 2001, Daniel was working inside Tower 2 of the World Trade Center. He remembers learning Tower 1 had been hit, being directed toward the stairwell, and the terrifying realization that his own building had just been struck floors above him. Twenty-five years later, Daniel reflects on survival, perspective, community, and why songs like “Pig” and “Lie in Our Graves” carry such powerful meaning in his life.
