Watching the post-match interviews at the NCAA wrestling tournament is one of the best teachers there is. What a show of sportsmanship and humility. Lifelong dreams won and lost, and the strength of character to talk about it. This episode is my unsolicited request to wrestlers that they don't change. That even though shock and awe is the way of social media and $$$, there's an alternative that's just as rewarding, albeit perhaps in a different way.

Remember when this show was called "A Fighter's Mindset"? That was a long time ago, and in that time, I've learned a lot about a different mindset, "a seller's mindset." Adapting myself to this new reality of mine (selling in order to have a business) has been filled with a lot of No's, embarrassing calls and Zooms and many other stomach-sinking interactions. But, I've gotten better, and this book has helped. Today's book teaches selling as influence, belief, psychology and much more. Whether you're directly in sales or not, it's lessons are applicable to life.
