    The Popular People

    The Popular People

What makes the popular people popular? Who decides? Who are they even popular with?
TeeJay's looking at "The Popular People" this week because as schools have started reopening for all pupils again the issue of popularity is turning up again.
There's been "popular kids", "cool kids" "the in crowd" for what feels like the whole of time. Can you even name a school film where there's no popular group of kids? Nope...
TeeJay explores the groups you find and why you may not want to be one of the cool kids...

    Promises, promises

    Promises, promises

Last week it was lies, this week TeeJay is tackling promises.
Making them, breaking them, regretting them and of course keeping them.
Much like lies, promises can make or break trust.
Every time you break a promise you are telling the person who you made the promise to "you are not worth the effort of keeping this promise."
And how often is that person you are making and breaking promises to yourself?
TeeJay explores the impact of making and breaking promises, why breaking a promise is like lying and what you can do to make sure you keep the promises you make.

    Your Lies Have Consequences

    Your Lies Have Consequences

    Today TeeJay's talking about lies.

Big fat lies, little white lies, off the cuff lies, premeditated lies. Doesn't matter - all lies are lies and all lies have consequences.

Telling lies is something that keeps coming up in conversations TeeJay is having with both young people and parents. To the point that telling a lie seems to have become a habit.

So today she's looking at why we tell lies and what impact that has on you and others around you.

    Achievement Lists

    Achievement Lists

TeeJay's talking achievement. What a fabulous word that is, it's one of TeeJay's favourites and it's been on her mind after hearing somebody talk about creating an Achievement List!

An achievement list is not a gratitude journal.

Taking the time to reflect and think about all your achievements over your life will give you a huge boost.

And before you say I haven't achieved anything TeeJay wants you to start with the easy stuff such as getting up, getting washed, getting dressed, playing games on your computer, being able to tell the time!

Once you start, you'll realise how much you have done. Big things, small things.

Acknowledging your achievements will help you achieve even more!
