    Ep #46 From SSRI’s to Freedom: My Story

    This one is personal. In this episode, I open up about my journey with mental health medications—specifically long-term SSRI use—and what it’s really like living a life dependent on them. For years, this was my normal… but not without consequences. I talk about my own attempt to come off SSRIs—and the reality of just how brutal that experience was. If you’ve ever tried, or even thought about it, you’ll understand exactly what I mean. We also get into the bigger picture. I touch on the recent push for research into ibogaine following a bill signed by Donald Trump, and why this could be a game-changer for people struggling with mental health and dependency. I also share the story of someone I deeply respect, Jordan Peterson, and his battle with neurological injury tied to medication—something that hit close to home for me. This episode isn’t about telling anyone what to do. It’s about sharing my experience, the highs, the lows, and the hope that there may be another path forward. We get into the love from the fundraiser for the biggest challenge of my life-a 100 mile ultramarathon. Over $700 raised in one day—which means more than I can even put into words.     Ep #44 Just Getting Started

    In this solo episode, I open up about the rush of emotions that hit when I finally passed my Real Estate Sales Exam. Man, it felt good—like a huge weight off. I also get real about the discipline it took to grind through the studying while still showing up for my family, my health, my mental game, and everything else life throws at you. No shortcuts, just consistent action. There were a couple of "God winks" moments this past week that really stood out and reminded me things are lining up for a reason—I talk about those too.     Did you know that roughly 60% of calories in the average American diet come from ultra-processed foods? In this episode I get to sit down and talk with my main dude Zach about our journeys with food. Zach is a type 1 diabetic and I have struggled with what doctors thought to be Chron's, IBS, and gluten intolerance. We speak on how we have evolved with what we eat and give some great insight on whole food versus processed food.
