    Hey everybody! How's it going? Long time no talkie, but I'm back! Life kind of took me all over the place there, but I've landed in LA, and I've got some opinions on the new regulatory nature of the cannabis industry. Regulation has sure changed a lot about access and pricing, and not much of it is good, yet. While legislators try to better understand the industry, small businesses and consumers are paying the price. Literally, with taxes well over 20% in most places. But if you know where to go, you can still find some deals. This is a floater episode, to finally check-in and bring a little of that 411 you might need before you plan your trip to Cali, or just venture into the legal adult market.     Hey everyone! Sorry for the hiatus, but it's been a storm around here, and I ain't even anywhere near the hurricanes! I talk a bit about some personal experiences in trying to fight off the depression that can come with major changes, and how sharing cannabis has improved my life in ways that fight my depression without ever even ingesting it myself. Then I get down to a listener question! What are some tips for those who are totally new to this dab thing? Beyond some of the things I've talked about in other episodes, and barring some of the more personalized aspects of getting started (like buying a good rig for you), I give some practical tricks for dealing with what the use of cannabis concentrates on a regular basis means. In a rambly kind of, "hey, I'm two weeks late and my neighbors are noisy and distracting" kind of way... ya know, the usual. This week's Safety we dish out some Jillybean, but no dabs today.     Breathing, we all gotta do it, right? Should be easy peasy, but why do I get so wheezy? Well, my cannabis enthusiasm might have gotten me there. But I'm a new age stoner! I'm not above taking some time to get to know my toke. And it's gonna help be a better breather ...as soon as I can stop coughing. Because cannabis as a spiritual and physical medicine is integrally locked with our breath, and we can play them off each other. If we got slow, and stay mindful. Or go big and stay mindful; you do you, boo. Inhalation is too important a method of cannabis to be afraid of it. Super Glue is a more indica leaning version of the Glue family. It keeps me relaxed as I ponder the future of cannabis as medicine in this western world.     Dental health is the cornerstone of overall health, but smoking has clear implications on that health. Even smoking cannabis! Is this the Achilles' heel of our beloved weed? HELL NO! Heat and smoke can be big instigators of gum disease, but cannabis isn't the culprit! In the end, there's no proof that smoking cannabis is any more detrimental than not smoking cannabis, beyond the expected side effects of heat and dry mouth, which aren't uniquely caused by pot at all! They're very normal things every person will deal with in their lifetimes. The good news is that cannabis can also reverse the effects of gum disease and gingivitis, boosting the benefits of oil pulling and remineralization with a focus on reducing inflammation and pain.     When it comes to choosing our best medicine there's a lot to know. But it all starts with optimizing the options that cannabis provides. There's more to getting the best medicine than simply tokin' -A LOT MORE! Some people need options that don't flood their system and brain with THC, while others do. We're gonna focus on some examples of ways and reasons that is. Fighting an injury is a lot different than fighting mental health, and you should use every weapon in your arsenal to get back to maximum health, as quickly as possible. That means finding the right dose too, of course. When it comes to dosing, there's just no easy answer. There's no mathematical conversions and there's no safe guess ...well, actually they're all safe guesses, if you listen to your body and fight for that sweet, safe access!
