Alex Draper sits down with Amy to explain how you can use interpersonal skills to drive emotional intelligence and effectively lead from your heart. You’ll want to hear this episode before you try to honestly come up with an answer to how self-aware you really are.

151 - The Biology of Trauma with Dr. Aimie Apigian
If you’ve tried all of the bandaids that Western Medicine has to offer in order to treat the symptoms of trauma, but you still feel like you are constantly overwhelmed, you’re about to find relief. In this episode, Dr. Aimie Apilgian helps us to understand the biology of trauma and demonstrates one of her exercises to reset in the moment.
She’ll tell Amy how as a western trained medical doctor, she was drawn to traditional healing techniques and functional medicine for rewiring and reorganizing the nervous system. She addresses the effects of stored trauma on your immune system, mitochondria, cortisol and the 3 states of the nervous system. She says that you don’t have to go digging into the past or opening up boxes to reorganize your nervous system.
Dr. Aimie is a Double Board-Certified Medical Physician in both Preventive and Addiction Medicine and holds Double Masters Degrees in Biochemistry and in Public Health. She is the leading medical expert on addressing stored trauma in the body through her signature model and methodology, The Biology of Trauma™: a new lens that courageously uplevels the old methods of trauma work and medicine by reverse-engineering trauma's effects on the nervous system and body on a cellular level.

149 - Producing Transformation with Julie Belew
Stark Transformation Show podcast producer, Julie Belew, returns for a third time to check in with Amy on her evolution to living her best life. In addition to producing this show, she’s become a regular guest and she’s revealing how the healing vibes that Amy puts out in every episode has reached her beautiful soul.
She tells us what’s happened since she participated in the first podhealing in Episode 113, when Amy used energy to open Julie up to process trauma and stress more efficiently and how that has been so helpful in her spiritual journey.
They’ll discuss some of the episodes Julie’s worked on that made a huge impact on her understanding of the themes and healing tools that are often discussed on the show. Amy will do what she does best by putting a fine point on ideas of fear, forgiveness, and limiting beliefs. Customer Reviews
Love this healing podcast!
The knowledge and tools Amy shares in this show is invaluable and so important, we can so often get caught up overcorrecting with the wrong tools that leave us feeling depleated and feeling less than while not looking or doing the inner work that makes a huge difference. I highly recommend to anyone on their healing journey.
Hope
What a great show to listen to messages of hope. Being someone who has struggled with their health for years, sometimes it can feel like a black hole of where to start healing. This is a fun listen and super uplifting.
