Turns out they were dead the whole time.

But at least they explained the numbers, so the whole ARG aspect of the thing really paid off.

Just listening to the calm

I’m really hoping a spoiler isn’t the pinned review. As I have gone all this time having no idea what happened at the end of Lost. So I will keep my fingers crossed and try not to let this ruin my first of watch of this series. I followed Joanna from another podcast she did. This is a good podcast. I’m going to watch Game Of Thrones for the first time so I may go back and listen to the previous ones. My only, but biggest critique is the format. I prefer when hosts take it scene by scene. It can be difficult sometimes to follow the conversation because it can jump all over the place. Otherwise hosts do well together.

Perfect for LOST Newbies & OGs

This podcast was one of the things that got me through the pandemic. I came across it in March 2020 and was thrilled to discover it was still being recorded. By the time I caught up to the podcasters in real time, not only was I hooked, but I was inspired to become a first-time Patreon subscriber in order to show my appreciation and have a chance to participate in their interactive live watches.

I’m a huge LOST fan, having watched in real time before creating my personal tradition of an annual solo rewatch. I had long considered crafting my own syllabus for a Philosophy 101 course to pair with a rewatch in order to see how well the writers wove the theories of Locke, Rousseau, Bentham, Hume, and others into the plot lines for their namesakes, but the fear of massive disappointment kept me from it. This podcast touched on that topic and so many more. The book smarts, emotional intelligence, political savvy, and cultural knowledge of hosts Dave Gonzales, Joanna Robinson, and Neil Miller — with the help of brilliantly crafted emails from friends and fans of the pod — far exceeded my hopes for indulging in my love of LOST with others. Whether you’re returning to the island or diving into LOST for the first time, this podcast is the perfect companion.
