The Power of the Secret Recipe to Overcome Fear with Brigette Heller S: 2 E: 11
In this episode Brigette invitees you into her free monthly class as she shares the secret recipe that has guided her since she was a young adult, enabling her to over come fear and choose the life she wants to live.
"The secret recipe is all about mindset and mental health. Its all about tuning into your mind and heart so you can make a plan for how to take care of yourself."
when we tell ourself negative things, when we choose to put ourself down and tell ourselves negative things " I am no good, very bad and horrible, it makes us weak. The way me make ourselves strong is the opposite, I am good, strong, capable, passionate..."
"I have been on a mission for 8 years- what is strong and capable, what does that mean and why does it matter if we believe it."
We are born with all the best ingredients, the perfect recipe for success, but life makes us doubt that and so we start switching up the ingredients a bit.. if we would just follow the recipe we would be good.. but we switch up the recipe as we experience life which makes us doubt ourselves.
We start telling ourselves every time we have a failure, or we THINK we have a failure, we tell ourself that we are doing something WRONG, our brain is trying to keep us safe- which is good, but we were never in danger, and what happens is by the time we are a teenager we don't know who wee are and we start desperately to lash out and find ourselves again.
The things of our heart, we just don't want to give up on them.
While music is something I love, It became something I did in secret..
We can evolve and we can change
when I started to rewrite my thoughts I realized that maybe I am not a professional singer, but its something I love, its part of who I am, its part of my DNA, part of my perfect recipe.
I accept myself unconditionally right now- Becky Kemp
Say "I am learning", We are always learning, always growing... Everything you do is a content process of learning and growing and as soon as you accept that, life gets easier.
You think 70-80,000 thoughts a day and if you don't know what recipes are going, what code is being written for your actions, you don't have the power over your life you want to have.
What you are doing a thought inventory- Write WHATEVER comes to your mind, it take practice to tune into your thoughts.
Look at your thoughts, positive, negative and everything in between and start to look for patterns because a Thought + belief = Feeling
Limiting beliefs hold you back. when your consistently telling yourself "I have no control over my life" then that becomes a belief and it holds you back.
your brain is going to search for evidence of every living belief, so the new belief has to be something you ACTUALLY believe
so you have to take those patterns and negative thoughts and rewrite them, literally- write them down and create a new belief that is positive and give it evidence to take root in your mind and heart. One (negative thought) is stopping and draining me and one (positive thought) is powerful and gives me purpose
you can put your new beliefs on your mirror, on your phone screen, on a 3 by 5 card and take it with you wherever you go.
take your new belief "evidence" from outside sources that are trusted. "I used to be afraid of the dark until I learned that I AM A LIGHT and the dark is afraid of me (Ephesians 5:8)
The evidence should be clean, clear and something you can trust, there will be times when life is hard and the anxiety pops up to tell you that your new belief is bad and wrong, but you will be able to say "no, no" I know the truth because you have the new belief you have rewritten.
Some women Fear the fire, some become it R.H Sin
Desperation does not bring victory, what does bring victory is Passion, hope, knowledge. -
