The Table Two Ticket

As a table 2 carrier, I can agree that there is a foundational injustice in the 2 tiered pay system in the NALC. Past that, I’m not really following the message. Have administrations failed to correct this situation in the past? Yes Does that mean that literally every individual that didn’t burn down the USPS since 2013 is tainted and beyond use or salvation? That seems to be the core argument. I’d love for all my Table 2 Brothers and Sisters to immediately take over running the NALC, but this podcast (based on the first 6 episodes) seems to be piles of whataboutism and false dichotomies instead of proposing a way forward. Love the drive, but it’s going to take more than recapping other people’s podcasts from week to week, trying to start beef to get mentions on other shows

I get it your first few episodes was pretty knowledgeable, but then you just started ranting. Yes we need change. but you are a hypocrite stay in your lane if you want to run run clean quit trying to run a smear do better and be better you’re a flip words king taking everything that they are saying. you’re like Brian or better yet lew drass 2.0 it’s a clear no for me dawg I don’t trust you represent us . I also find it very strange that you’re not attacking Mike Caref only Corey and the CLC is it because you are fearful of good change that is needed? or is it that you are in cahoots with Caref.

The first few episodes I would agree with most of what the host was saying and as a table 2 carrier his anger is justified and warranted but the anger when its pointed at those willing to do something about the injustice and as his latest episode for clc is ranting about how no one can save this union or the letter carrier than what other option is there than to give up seems like the end thought. However it is up to each of us to start getting involved, go to the meetings attempt to be involved with your local branch and bring upon the change you want to see and if you refuse to get involved than the result is just being angry and yelling at the air with no change coming from it. I would hope future episodes go back to educating the city letter carrier and advising them to get in the fight or at least support those who are going to fight for us.

The actions of NALC President Brian Renfroe give an example of a Union that has left it’s membership. Leaving the NALC hurts your local branch, but I can’t fault anyone who does leave it from Table 2 because Brian Renfroe does works against Table 2 carriers and can negate our voice with the strike of a pen and call it “good faith” negotiations.
