    The Teachable Moment | Charlotte Hecker | Season 1 | Episode 1

    At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, many students were distance learning, feeling isolated and powerless. Through a special mini-term, Charlotte Hecker was able to explore those feelings and express them through creative writing. The poem she produced, titled Lemon Seed, received acclaim from Appelley Publishing for inclusion in its 2022 Rising Stars Collection. Hear how that experience inspired and awakened Charlotte in new ways.
