Quitting can be laced with shame.  That's why people come up with all sorts of incredible reasons to quit then validate it to themselves or the people in their lives.

But what if we allowed ourselves to quit, without resistance, judgement or shame?

Then allowed ourselves to listen deeply to the voice within and what still lingers after we say we're through.

That's what I'm going to experiment with the next time I want to throw in the towel on my business, my vacation rental company, my career.  

I'm just going to allow the thought.  Quit.  Then listen.

Maybe quitting is part of our growth.

Today we talk about how cleaning up what you've already got instead of impulse shopping or thought-swapping might serve you better in the long run.

This whole episode came from a stroll I was taking at the local home improvement store when I noticed how expensive fabric shower curtains were.  Instead of buying a new one like I thought I needed, I just cleaned the one I already had.

Comparatively, I can clean up my thoughts around what I've got already and make it more comfortable, more accepting and more loving.
