    July 6, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 159 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Ross McCorkle and Josh Carney sit in for Alex Kozora and we get right into discussing the excitement surrounding the upcoming World Cup match between the United States and Belgium. We also discuss if professional soccer has any shot at threatening the NFL in the very near future when it comes to American popularity. Two young Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers, Roman Wilson and Germie Bernard, were recently working with The Route God, according to videos posted on Instagram, so we all discuss how that might be the biggest recent news concerning the team. The Steelers have yet to sign CB Joey Porter Jr. and DT Keeanu Benton to contract extensions this offseason so with that, we dive into the probability aspects of each player getting done this offseason. We spend a lot of time discussing Benton's situation and future as part of this segment because the three of us are generally convinced that Porter will sign a contract extension at some point prior to Week 1. On the heels of Ross recently ranking the 2026 offseason moves made by Steelers GM Omar Khan, the three of us dive deeper into the potentially best and most impactful additions made on both offense and defense over the course of the last several months. I also get thoughts from Ross and Josh on what their biggest concerns are when it comes to the Steelers offense and defense ahead of training camp getting underway later this month. After thoroughly discussing offensive and defensive concerns when it comes to the 2026 Steelers, the three of us talk in-depth about three more players in my annual 90-in-30 training camp preview series. The three players the three of us discuss are OLB Alex Highsmith, OL Brock Hoffman, and ILB Cole Holcomb. As part of our discussion, we give the summer outlook for each player and the chances a few of them have at sticking in Pittsburgh once the preseason ends. We discuss if Ramsey's ranking is too high and we go over his 2025 season and what the expectations are for him in 2026.
