With SO many podcasts out there on Parenting, I wanted to create one that takes it to the next level. While we will discuss topics related to the challenges, concerns, and celebrations of parenting, I feel it imperative to bring in the experts on what it is to be a child today - Our children. Our children have so much to teach us, and we, them. In this podcast, rather than focusing on parenthood and childhood as separate experiences, I want to offer that it can be a journey we share that will teach and empower all of us . People often joke about children needing to come with a manual for parenting, and we all know bookstore and library shelves are filled with countless books on the what to expect, how to's, and "best" practices, right? Yet, with all of this information at the tips of our fingers, we still find ourselves challenged, frustrated, concerned, and confused. WHY? Because no one book or method works for every child! This podcast is about exploring, uncovering, getting curious, and connecting with ourselves and our children so that we can be the best parent to our children for precisely who they are. I will be sharing lots of information from my training and experience, information from others in the field of parenting, but, perhaps most importantly, from those who are the experts in what it is like to be a child today, our children. Great parenting requires us to Meet our children where they are and to Grow from there.
