Welcome Back!!  It's been a very busy couple of weeks but Annie and I are back at it.  And I'm very excited to share that my co-host and Baby Sister is now Dr. Annie Pruitt.  She just defended her dissertation to complete her EdD in Educational Leadership.  SO proud of you, Annie!!!!

Welcome to Oscar Week!!!  While Annie and Kris have been pretty busy with regular daily life, we did not want Oscar Week to come and go with no special bonus episode.  We're not doing a full week of episodes like last year, but we do have a fun one for you today.
If you're like us, you always have those one or two or five "special nominees" that you've liked and respected for YEARS and it makes you NUTS that these folks have yet to be truly recognized by The Academy.  That's where we're going for this Bonus Episode:  sharing our Top Five Motion Picture professionals (not all actors) who are seriously overdue for that Oscar.

WHOA!!!  Here's our 75th episode, not including bonus episodes!  I can't believe it - well, yeah, I can, whatever.
This week we're keeping The Professionals Series going with our favorite Grifters - Con Men/Con Women, etc.  This started out being a very easy list for me, but then again I was trying not to be overly obvious.  I did trump my sister on a couple of movies, though - one of which I could have sworn we'd watched together, but I'll be quite excited to watch them with her when I visit in April.
If you've tried to send us an email in the past few weeks, you probably thought we were making up that address...well, we weren't, I just forgot to renew our domain - oops.  I'm hoping that explains the lack of engagement from our community, LOL.

I don't know about y'all, but I could talk about movie cops in a dozen different ways - and I think even Annie would say the same.  You often get cops in buddy movies - like Riggs and Murtaugh, Tango and Cash, etc.  And then you have the franchise people - for which we do have something to say in this episode.  And we haven't even talked about TV cops yet at all.  I am trying my darndest not to break Annie's rule after our first episode on teachers.
