    SUNDAY SERVICE | WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? - Sunday 5th April 2026 AM | Pastor Mike

    The tomb was never meant to be your permanent address. In this message from Matthew 17:22–23, Jesus tells His disciples He will be killed — and on the third day raised to life. Pastor Mike shows that what exposed the disciples wasn't their grief, it was what they stopped at. They heard death and went no further. The same negativity bias that drove Sarah to laugh at a promise, Peter to rebuke the Messiah, and Mary to arrive at an empty tomb carrying embalming spices — is the same pull that keeps people circling graveyards of disappointment, looking for evidence that confirms what they've already decided isn't coming back. Pastor Mike traces the pattern through Scripture — from Adam hiding in shame from the God who gave him everything, to Cleopas walking beside the risen Jesus talking only about His death, to Judas, who had seen every prediction come true and still couldn't hold on for the third day. The tragedy is always the same: two realities are presented, and we camp in the lesser one. But death was never the design — the tree God never forbade was the tree of life. And the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, which means nothing in your life has to stop at the grave either. Whatever sin and death have taken, resurrection has a claim on it. Because the grave is just a place — emptied. He is not there, and you don't have to be there either. Stop looking for what died.     SUNDAY SERVICE | MULTIPLY YOUR SEED - Sunday 29th March 2026 AM | Pastor Mike

    The famine doesn't have the final word. Your response to it does. In this message from Genesis 26:12–14, Isaac is sitting inside a regional crisis he didn't cause and cannot control — and God tells him not to go to Egypt. Pastor Mike shows the real issue was never the famine itself, but the tunnel it creates. When scarcity narrows your vision to immediate survival, you stop seeing the sowing moment in front of you. Egypt isn't just a place on a map — it's wherever your immediate need is pointing you, and it always costs more than it offers. Pastor Mike traces the principle through Scripture — covering the widow of Zarephath giving her last handful of flour to a prophet who showed up at the worst possible time and Isaac scattering seed in drought-cracked ground and reaping a hundredfold in the very year of famine.     You didn't build any of it — and that's exactly the point. In this message from Deuteronomy 6:10–12, the land God promised isn't just arriving — it's already furnished. Cities, houses, wells, vineyards — all of it waiting before Israel takes a single step in. But Pastor Mike shows the danger was never outside the promise. It was inside the person receiving it. Satisfaction is the test Egypt never was, because you can survive a desert on desperation, but prosperity requires something harder — memory. The same people who cried out from slavery would soon misremember it, and the land they hadn't yet entered would already be slipping through their fingers.     Not every prayer for your child is a prayer of faith — some are prayers of fear wearing faith's clothing. In this message from Matthew 20:20–22, the boldness of Zebedee's wife asking Jesus to seat her sons at his right and left sounds presumptuous — but Pastor Mike shows the real question isn't whether she asked too much, it's whether you're willing to ask at all. Most parents carry a burden for their children that quietly becomes control — reducing church attendance before exams, steering them away from full surrender, managing outcomes God was never asked about. What looks like wisdom is sometimes just fear that God won't move the way you need Him to.     Not every place that prospers you is the place you belong. In this message from Deuteronomy 6:10–12, the promise of a land filled with cities, houses, wells, and vineyards Israel never built sounds like arrival — but Pastor Mike shows the deeper issue was never land, it was attachment. Israel had settled in Egypt, prospered there, and slowly allowed what was meant to sustain them to start shaping them. What looked like provision became bondage, proving that the real danger was not just being in Egypt, but Egypt being in them. Pastor Mike traces the pattern through Scripture — from Esau trading his birthright, to the prodigal squandering his inheritance, to humanity itself exchanging what God promised for what appetite demanded.
