🎧 The Trouble with Angels — Season 2, Episode 10: Chapter 17: The Trouble with God, According to Lucifer (The Corpse Was Uncooperative) When the fate of humanity is still hanging somewhere over the horizon, Gabriel and Michael stop at a Waffle House for coffee, hash browns, and a little reminiscing.Which would already be complicated enough without grief, forged authority, old family wounds, and Michael’s deeply suspicious version of “roadtripping.”But memory has a way of opening doors best left theatrically sealed, and before the night is over, one disastrous celestial dinner party, one meddling corpse, and one very inconvenient truth about love and loyalty are all back on the table. In This Episode (Spoiler-Free): Gabriel and Michael take refuge in the holiest place available: a Waffle House at night a tender, strange look at why humans keep trying even when everything hurts celestial sibling banter, grief, coffee, and fluorescent-light revelations Lucifer hosts a murder mystery dinner, and the victim is not especially cooperative one of the funniest and saddest family memories in the whole series Bob and Hannah arrive with exactly the kind of urgency that ruins everybody’s waffles ⚠️ Content Advisory:This episode contains grief, apocalypse anxiety, references to death and the possible end of humanity, strained family dynamics, emotional overwhelm, and discussions of deceit and forged authority. There is no graphic violence or gore, but there is a great deal of existential tension, emotional ache, and one corpse behaving in ways that are deeply unhelpful to the integrity of the mystery. 🎧 Listen Wherever You Get Your Podcasts:Spotify • Apple • YouTube • and beyond ✨ And if you want more of my audio stories, you can also listen to  Sadie Cohen: Bounty Hunter and https://gloryfink.substack.com/s/sadie-cohen-bounty-hunter  Boarding School Murder Mystery https://gloryfink.substack.com/s/boarding-school-murder-mystery  📬 Subscribe for the paperwork (and the story):Chapters, audio updates, and assorted cosmic memos arrive via inbox. 🎧 The Trouble with Angels — Season 2, Episode 9: Chapter 16: We Need to See a Rat About a Conspiracy (And Possibly the Location of God)

🎧 The Trouble with Angels — Season 2, Episode 9: Chapter 16: We Need to See a Rat About a Conspiracy (And Possibly the Location of God) When Heaven starts smelling less like divinity and more like paperwork, there is really only one sensible response: go underground and ask the rats. In this chapter, Bob and Hannah return to Pierre’s hidden hearth beneath Paris, where grief gets treated tenderly, intelligence gets gathered properly, and a forged message begins to show its seams. Between broth, velvet, whiskers, and surveillance-by-vibes, the truth comes into focus: some orders are not sacred at all. They are merely processed. In This Episode (Spoiler-Free): Bob and Hannah take an apocalypse-level problem to the one network in Creation that actually knows how to track traffic, residue, and suspiciously polished nonsense. Pierre and Clotilde turn the colony into a cozy little war room, complete with rat intelligence, emotional forensics, and better hospitality than most institutions manage on purpose. A question that has haunted the season sharpens into evidence: when a message carries authority, how do you tell whether it came from God… or from too many careful hands? This chapter brings tenderness, dread, wit, and one of my favorite recurring truths of the series: the creatures nobody ranks highly enough are often the ones keeping the world from falling apart. ⚠️ Content Advisory:This episode includes discussions of grief, apocalypse-level stakes, forged authority, emotional manipulation through false orders, and references to the possible end of life on Earth. It also contains themes of bereavement, institutional betrayal, and spiritual distress, though handled with warmth, humor, and care. 🎧 The Trouble with Angels — Season 2, Episode 8: Chapter 15: I Was Promised Mini-Golf, Not a Rogue-Angel Cabal (And Yet Here We Are) Agnes goes looking for mini-golf and a buffet—and walks straight into the politest, friendliest meeting you never want to attend. In This Episode (Spoiler-Free): Agnes follows a simple wish for good food and fun… and finds herself welcomed into a suspiciously cheerful “leadership retreat.” Name tags appear. Smiles widen. And the agenda feels just a little too interested in the fate of the universe. Meanwhile, Hannah learns that some meetings look friendly on the surface—but are quietly built on the most dangerous assumption of all: that systems know better than people. ⚠️ Content Advisory:This episode includes themes of institutional control, manipulation through politeness, grief being treated as a “problem to manage,” and satirical depictions of bureaucratic systems discussing human lives as metrics. 🎧 The Trouble with Angels — Season 2, Episode 7: Chapter 14, Part 3: I Need to Speak to the Manager of Existence—Because Honey, You Don’t Deserve the Headache I’m About to Give Someone In Part 3, Hannah’s grief stops being a file and becomes a force—because Bob finally refuses to let the system separate her, soften her, or silence her. Heaven’s Upper Administration responds the way institutions always do when someone stops complying: with pursuit, politeness, and paperwork. But the Silver City has moods… and this time, it may have opinions. In This Episode (Spoiler-Free): * A universal key that makes the Silver City react like it just saw an executive badge. * Heaven’s “Main Office” is… aggressively normal (in the most horrifying way). * Grief is not a compliance issue (and the building itself agrees). * A rat named Sneaker with the confidence of a creature who has stolen from God’s supply closet. * A whispered phrase that turns your stomach: “The committee wants it clean.” * An emergency escape route through crawlspaces, seams, and bureaucracy’s blind spots. * The Silver City’s customer-service voice goes from helpful to helpful with opinions. ⚠️ Content Advisory: grief and anger around loss, institutional gaslighting / emotional suppression, implied threat/pursuit, panic-response moments, and unsettling cosmic bureaucracy. 🎧 Listen Wherever You Get Your Podcasts:Spotify • Apple • YouTube • and beyond✨ And if you want more of my audio stories, you can also listen to  Sadie Cohen: Bounty Hunter and https://gloryfink.substack.com/s/sadie-cohen-bounty-hunter  Boarding School Murder Mystery https://gloryfink.substack.com/s/boarding-school-murder-mystery  📬 Subscribe for the paperwork (and the story):Chapters, audio updates, and assorted cosmic memos arrive via inbox. Bob’s patience thins. Adil’s charm turns surgical. And Heaven’s immaculate waiting room starts to feel like a trap with excellent lighting. In This Episode (Spoiler-Free): Upper Administration smiles like a clinic receptionist—then tries to “stabilize” grief into compliance. Tone policing… in Heaven. (Yes, really.) 🎧 The Trouble with Angels — Season 2, Episode 3: Two Tickets to the End of the World (Light Snacks Will Be Served During Judgment Day) (Chapter 12) A quiet movie theater should be an easy place to disappear. Dim lights. Buttered popcorn. A story big enough to hold your nervous system for a while. But in our Universe, even “escape” has policies—and Bob doesn’t bring Hannah here for fun. He brings her because someone powerful prefers to talk while humans are distracted… and because the sky has been acting like it has something to say. In This Episode (Spoiler-Free): A movie theater that feels less like entertainment and more like a shrine Rimona: a weather goddess with immaculate composure and storm-level opinions The funniest/creepiest human curse: in an empty room, they still block the view “Storms aren’t punishment.” A strangely tender conversation about grief and scale Cosmic bureaucracy details that feel… off (and Bob notices) A lingering sense that the system is smiling while something underneath shifts Hannah’s anger sharpening into something usable: direction ⚠️ Content Advisory: This episode includes grief themes and death aftermath, along with existential dread (including discussion of apocalypse/extinction as a concept).
