    Queer as Folk

Earlier this year, the Channel 4 show It’s a Sin gripped the nation with its heart-breaking portrayal of a group of queer friends living through the HIV/Aids crisis of the early 1980s.

But 30 years earlier, its creator Russel T Davis sent shockwaves through British television with a very different portrayal of an LGBTQ friendship group.

Unique, Interesting Concept

Host Beth’s goal is to analyze one television show at a time. She talks about life, sociology, psychology, and a host of other topics through the lens of pop culture and television. This is a unique idea that can appeal to a wide range of people since many of us feel particularly connected to the shows and movies we watched in the past, as well as the ones we watch (or obsessively re-watch) now.

Great in depth look!

Beth’s show is a fantastic, passionate look at some her (and some of her guests’) favorite TV shows and how those shows have impacted them in their lives. It’s always great hearing people talk about things they love, and The TV That Changed Me fits right in that groove. There is a ton of hot to be found in these episodes, and it makes you want to watch (or rewatch) these shows to see the happiness they brought to others. Check this podcast out!
