I felt compelled to tell about my journey with Breast Cancer. I want to discuss my diagnosis and treatment and the side effects that you may not know that could happen. Looking forward to having other women and men share their journey. After searching for answers, that's when it hit me to call my journey The Unexpected Detour. As i carefully looked back and thought about my life it has been filled with detours. I wondered had we done things correctly and would we be able to avoid DETOURS? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

LET'S TALK ABOUT LIFE'S DETOURS

    Separation Anxiety

    Separation Anxiety

Separation Anxiety is a form of mental health issues. Whether we want to accept it or not we all have or will deal with separation anxiety sometime in our life. The question is how will you handle it? If we pay close attention to our own behavioral patterns, you’ll see that you have experienced separation anxiety.

A while back I recall listening to a women explain why she would go from one relationship to the next. She stated that she didn’t like solitude and would always have a new boyfriend. As soon as one relationship ended, she would fill that empty space with a new boyfriend. I thought about men and that made sense why they are always on the prowl. They deal with this issue just like women and had a need to fill the empty void.

It takes a lot to learn to live with ourselves or love ourselves we are so instead we settle for what we assume what makes us happy but, it’s just a disguise. I have experienced separation anxiety and the struggle was real. I struggled emotionally, mentally financially and spiritually before the realization hit me that I was in denial. I had to take a good look in the mirror and realize I am affirmed by God and loved by many but most importantly loving me came first.

I have weathered the storm and came out on top, and I encourage you to do the same. No one will ever love you unless you learn to love yourself FIRST.

For you cannot receive what you cannot give.

    What The Heck?

    What The Heck?

Living in New York has become a city that's acquired more homelessness than before. More crime than I could ever imagine and the perpetrators not giving a damn about another person's life.
A mayor who feels he can impose unnecessary mandates which makes me question how much jurisdiction he has over NYC none the less private business.

We have been forced to get a vaccine against our own free will, not respecting one's religion or medical history. The scare tactic they use ,take the vaccine or you can get Coivd and die. Really? So this is how we get people to do what we want by installing fear in them.
Sounds like how a parent instills fear into their children.

Seriously are we being used for the sole purpose as a mad scientist experiment? An experiment to see how many people will take this vaccine and we can see how it affects every individual. Or is the human race being annihilated to reduce the population? Or have we become a society that no longer gives a damn ?

Funding Where Does the Money Really GO

Funding Where Does the Money Really GO

I learned that funding is allocated by the number of new cases, mortality years and lost of life. Out of sixty-four types of cancer breast cancer was at the top followed by childhood cancer, leukemia, and lung cancer. At the bottom of the were cancers that affect internal organs like the liver, colon, pancreas, stomach, and the brain.

    Shock and Numb

Life is not promised to us for only God knows the date of our departure. So learn to love better learn to tell those you love how much you love them every day. Don't take life for granted but live each day to the fullest. Peace and blessings always

Time To Take Care of YOU

Time To Take Care of YOU

As Breast Cancer Awareness comes to and end please schedule your yearly mammograms. If you're over the age of 40 and have not gotten one then you should do so asap. Those approaching the age of 40 be sure to get a mammogram. Yearly mammograms just like yearly Pap smears are FREE so there is no reason to not get one. The BRCA gene is heredity therefore some men can get breast cancer. Lets be proactive by knowing your families history regarding health issues. In closing I will not forget my journey but would like to focus on other issues and THE UNEXPECTED DETOURS  many have encountered  and how they made it through.
As we head into November we will cover Hurt and Healing.
