    Casey Molifua, Brian Corr, and Francisco Arevalo sit down during the #MilesForMik running event. They recorded at 8 pm (after run #15) and 4 am (after run #23). Fatigued and sleep-deprived, they each answer deep questions about life.  We each learned valuable lessons from taking part in this event. We want to thank everyone who took part in raising over $11,000 to help grow the Mikaelah Daneen Molifua Memorial Scholarship. We want to thank everyone who supported the cause by running a couple miles wherever they were, and we also want to thank those that came by to run alongside us. It is an experience we will never forget. Remember: To live is to struggle. Keep Going and Have Hope!

    Casey Molifua and Francisco Arevalo talk more about the #MilesForMik running event happening on March 16. Along with Brian Corr, we will be running 1.1 miles every hour for 24 hours to raise money for the Mikaelah Molifua Memorial Scholarship. Mikaelah left a long lasting legacy, and there is no doubt that her impact has left a positive mark in the lives of many.     Ep. 25 - Metaphors for Life

    On our return to the podcast, we were grateful to have been joined by Chris Dalman. Chris graduated from Palma High School in 1988, and he moved on to play football for Stanford University, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. He then played for the San Francisco 49ers, where he won a Super Bowl in 1995. After his playing career, Chris moved on to coach for the Atlanta Falcons and Stanford University before returning back home to teach at Palma School, where he is now the President. In this episode, we spoke about his journey up until this point in his life. We spoke about his upbringing, the hardships he faced, what football means to him, adapting to the different transitions in his life, and leadership. Finally, we touched a little bit on mental health and the importance of reaching out for help.  Chris mentioned that "It's okay to ask the world: How do you do this?" Especially when making transitions in our lives, it is okay to ask for help. "It is really outdated to say that grown men can't show that they are having bad days." Remember everyone, you are not alone. Have Hope. Keep Going.

    Ep. 24 - Bullying and its Life Changing Effects

    This week, The Unknown sat down to speak more on an issue they find to be very important and serious in our society. According to the National Center for Educational Statistics in 2019, one out of every five students reports being bullied. We talked about the difference between growing up in the American school system and the school system in England and how bullying is approached overseas. We talked about our experiences with bullying, the way we felt at the time, and what we did to overcome that. Although people may still live with the effects of bullying later in life, don't forget that you are unique and people will love you because of that.  Be you. Be Kind.  You are not alone.

    Ep. 23 - Follow Your Bliss

    This week, we were happy to be joined by Cole Fisher. Cole is a graduate of Hastings College, and is currently a Human Performance Coach. On the episode, Cole was vulnerable with us and shared his personal life story. It included his struggles, how he has persevered, his current outlook on life, and the life advice he would pass on. He reminded us to "follow your bliss"... to discover what it feels like to live.  We challenge everyone tuning in to tell at least 1 person how grateful you are of them... you never know when they may need to hear that.
