The Vale Podcast ep 1
Welcome to our very first episode of The Vale Podcast. This has been an idea and pipe dream for a couple of years at least, and to see eveyrone embrace it is just sensational. We're lucky enough to secure the services of local icon Donny Falvo as our guest host and this week we're speaking to Ali Cupper MP about all things Ag Visas, also Leon Johnson about his 100th game with teh Robinvale Euston Football Netball Club, Jack is in with Vietnamese community news, Kato talks local news from the Sentinel, Jane discusses netball and Donny & Jade talk footy and stories. Make sure you subscribe and share!
Episode 2 - Too many stars for one show
I'm flying solo this week with Donny getting caught up on the farm with farm stuff but there's so much to talk about! The Mallee Almond Blossom Festival is this weekend so we catch up with Annette to chat about that. Talking dong with Jack, Tongan with Kato, Fijian with Maria who also has an exclusive for us, Steve talks basketball, and Ali Cupper talks roads. We also caught up with Dustin Fletcher & Phil Lamittina during the week, but that's too many stars for one show, so make sure you're subscribed to the podcasts, and sign up for the website newsletters to find out when those drop as BONUS EPISODES.
STORY TIME - Dustin Fletcher
Apologies for the audio, it was recorded on location in the committee room at the Robinvale Euston Football Netball Club, which we thank them for, but it's not the quality we'd like of course. Thanks to friend of the show Pat "Silco" Silcox from SCA for his help with production. We run into some technicial difficulties around the 12 minute mark and couldn't broadcast the rest, but enjoy the conversation as it is.
Episode 3 - 22nd August 2019
Donny is back, but only for a week before he flies off to Port Douglas for a holiday. Paula is in to talk about he Robinvale Basketball Association & the AGM being held TONIGHT (22ND AUGUST 2019) they are desperate for office bearers and people to take over so get involved. Quentin Norton is in to talk about all things RDHS and an extention to the ambulance station. Kato is in with local news in the Sentinel, out today and ready to pull the trigger on their website. Ali Cupper is also in studio with us to have a really interesting and informative chat about Labour Hire, Ag Visa's, Rates and her new proposal for the State Government and water. It's a big one, so settle in.
STORYTIME - Phil Lamattina
If you're not into motorsport, or drag racing then you may not know what the Lamattina Top Fuel Team have been able to accomplish. They've won 4 Australian Championships, and 2 of those with Phil as the driver. You may know, however that Phil has escaped death in spectacular fashion TWICE, and he's about to get back in the car. Buckle up, it's going to be an interesting ride.
