i love this podcast and how much i am learning on hot-topics in vet med! i am a current senior at berry college in georgia and am currently applying to vet schools. one question i have is what your clinics heart worm/ flea & tick prevention is? here in the south where mosquitoes are so bad we typically recommend pro heart with bravecto for fleas and ticks, i personally love it but was wondering what other areas in the country recommend for their clients since i know that is a pricey option. i know simparica trio is a sponsor of the show but also know many owners can forget to give pets their monthly dosage. also! i know some brands have experienced resistance to the worms and thus are not effective. just curious what y’all’s thoughts were, love the podcast! thanks for inspiring young people like me who see so much growth there is in this field hadley

Hey guys! I am a veterinary technician of 4 years and just took on the roll of manager at my local humane society! I commute 30/40 minutes every day and listen you your podcast every morning and afternoon! You have brought me much insight into cases I have seen or will see in my career and I am very thankful for a platform to continue my education. I have 2 associates degrees, a bachelors, and am completing my masters all in 4 years so I am a huge advocate for continuing education. This podcast is great for that!!!!
