Customer Reviews
Thoughtful and actionable content
I’m so glad you created this show, Haley. The first episode was great! My youngest daughter and I are currently watching all the Harry Potter movies. After hearing Nancy uncover some of the Christian themes in the book series, I feel like I have a lot more to offer her from a Catholic discussion standpoint. Well done!
What makes good children’s literature?
I have followed Haley Stewart for years now, ever since I found her blog as a new mom. I am so excited for this new project from her, and can’t wait for more episodes. So much rings true to me in the first episode, especially: the importance of talking about heavy subjects (ie death) with one’s children; the delight of sharing treasured favorites with my own children; and the necessity of a eucatastrophe for a story to feel “right”.
I’m looking forward to more thoughtful conversations about what makes literature true, good, and beautiful for children. This is a podcast for which I will definitely make time to listen!
