I have been listening to this podcast for years and still look forward to every episode. It has been so valuable to me to grow personally and professionally as a DP. I love the interviews. It is great to hear how everyone has a different approach and there is no right or wrong way to create your final image. I wish I had more time to really dig into the breakdown episodes, but just listening to the interview episodes in the car has been wonderful.
Great Host and discussions on the show
If you’re a cinematographer or a camera dept person, you’re probably already familiar with Wandering DPs YouTube breakdown videos but the podcast are arguably even more interesting since you also get to hear big name cinematographers give their take on the industry and working behind the camera at a high level. It’s refreshing, thanks Pat.
I'll encourage you to listen if you want to learn a lot about cinematography.
This podcast is for a seasoned pro and not the normal intro to filmmaking stuff here. It’s refreshing to graduate from 101 level cinematographer.
