In 2016, Christian Ruvalcaba, Cody Hall, and Brian Perez started recording themselves talking and the rest was history. Their hour-ish long podcast, known as “The Wanger Show”, quickly became and continues to be the #1 podcast (according to us) on the Schmoes Know iTunes feed. Their popularity has skyrocketed but their egos have been kept in check. Well, except for Brian. That guy’s out of control. Together, the guys continued to collaborate on various short films and sketches while remaining the BEST of friends. Maybe not the best of friends. They’re friends. Well, they’re more acquaintances. Challengers is a MOVIE! | Wanger Show 357
Howdy. We're back again. TONIGHT, our pal Alex is back. There was a movie about tennis that came out this past weekend and WE HAVE THOUGHTS. So we'll talk about that. Cody also has a SCORCHING HOT TAKE about something and he'd like to share with the class. Please don't cancel him for it. Wanger Show!

A Taylor Swift Album Review By Two People Who Don't Listen to Taylor Swift | Wanger Show 356
Hello there! Welcome back to another episode of the podcast. TONIGHT, we're back. Taylor Swift is back. We know absolutely nothing about her music but we're gonna talk about it because it's the thing that people are talking about. The NBA playoffs are in full swing and the Lakers are stuck dealing with the Nuggets again. Abigail was a movie that I think we both saw. Cody's debating buying an expensive guitar. He also fell asleep while watching something again. Christian also did stuff this weekend but Cody didn't check with him before writing this description so we're gonna keep his latest updates mysterious...

Godzilla & Kong Return to Save Cinema | Wanger Show 354
Hello! It's us! Again! Welcome back to the program. TONIGHT, Cody and Christian are back from another filming trip in the desert. More on that...eventually. Godzilla & Kong are back from fighting each other and fighting with each other while they fight...others. We'll talk about that movie. Sum 41 released their final album, causing Cody to look back at their career while simultaneously coming to terms with the concept of time and aging and all that existential good stuff. The Angels got crushed this weekend but that's okay because Ohtani had the opportunity to win a game for the Dodgers in extra innings and FAILED!

Sorting Through the Shohei Ohtani CHAOS w/Ken Napzok | Wanger Show 353
Welcome back to another episode of The Wanger Show! TONIGHT, Ken Napzok returns and we are talking GAMBLING. What's the over/under on tonight's runtime? 120.5 minutes? Should we get a parlay going? How's this sound? First, Cody needs to hit the wrong soundbite. Then, one of us needs to leave at some point to go to the bathroom. Finally, if Ken and Christian bring up a serious world news topic and Cody goes silent then we're BRINGING IT ALL HOME, FAM. Anyway, what do we think about this Shoehi stuff?

Customer Reviews
It’s okay I guess
Probably the best intro to any podcast ever, great cast, and the sneakiest sound bites. Shouts to Eric for his movie reviews, he might be the reason I started listening to you guys.
Can’t thank y’all enough for repping the west side (Long Beach!!!), love y’all.
Fine it’s great.
As a famous philosopher once said

Highlight of my week! Best show on the internet
I’ve been listening to these guys for 6 years! I feel like I’ve grown up with them. I’ve gotten engaged married bought a house and had a child and these 3 were there for all of it 2 hours at a time each and every week For those of us of in our late 20s and early 30s it feels like im listening to a group of friends I’ve known since childhood. When they sit around and talk music movies video games and everything pop culture, The conversations have me laughing hysterical and admittedly sometimes fuming over some very “hot takes”. But not only are the wangers funny to watch they are super talented! I’ll never stop being blown away by the creativity these three show. I’m following their careers as they will take off and be household names In this industry. Unlike so many of the content creators in this space Cody Christian and Brian are 100% authentic. They never operate as anything other than themselves and it’s so refreshing. I could listen to them talk Blink 182 THPS indie films and office quotes every week for the rest of my life! I hope the show never stops and I hope to one day meet them and thank them for all for the endless hours of entertainment they’ve given me over the years. #wangon
