    Giuseppe Floccari: Living In Your Purpose

    Giuseppe Floccari is an avid advocate and activist for people with disabilities, who lives with a rare disability TAR Syndrome, otherwise known as thrombocytopenia absent radius syndrome. Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, Giuseppe is a child of Italian immigrants, with insight on the intersectionality of disability and culture, advocacy and the importance of pushing yourself outside your comfort zone as a disabled person. Giuseppe is passionate about advancing himself forward, and is actively involved on the the board for Disabled in Action, Advisory Committee for Transit Accessibility board for the MTA, ADAPT, among more. Giuseppe is on a mission to spread a message of tolerance and equality for people who are different.     Bri Scalesse: Celebrating our Sexy Disabled Bodies

    Welcome back! Gabriella had the pleasure of speaking with the wonderful role model and disability advocate, Bri Scalesse. Gabriella and Bri talk about the messy journey of self-love, celebrating disabled bodies, and knowing what makes a true good inter-abled partner.  About Bri: Bri Scalesse advocates for disability representation in the media and air travel rights for wheelchair users. She’s a viral social media influencer, with 36k followers on instagram, and 470k on TikTok. After her time as a professional dancer with The Rolettes, she now teaches young disabled women modeling at The Rollette's yearly conferences. Bri also has an MFA in Nonfiction Writing from Columbia University in New York City, where she now lives. Recently, she starred in the Academy Award and BAFTA qualifying film “As You Are”, about a young, queer, interabled relationship.
