The Weirdest Thing I Learned This Week
At Popular Science, we report and write dozens of science and tech stories every week. And while a lot of the fun facts we stumble across make it into our articles, there are lots of other weird facts that we just keep around the office. So we figured, why not share those with you? It is so refreshing to hear amazing, fun, and fascinating facts, especially from women in science. This podcast has given me some great facts to share with anyone I meet. I truly appreciate the hard work you do to keep us informed on the most random of facts.
Eating bugs and crawly things

I’m glad to hear that Rachel isn’t opposed to eating bugs. That’s something I have strong feelings about. I used to listen to episodes twice a week until I caught up on the archives. Now I listen on Thursday afternoons (Having an episode waiting for a day boosts my dopamine.) I wrote poetry about weird animals for my college’s zoology newsletter for a year, and I must give credit to Weirdest Thing for several of my poems (including one about cockroaches)!
Love this podcast!

My friend at work turned me on to this podcast and I can't get enough! The weird facts they find each episode are so interesting! This is on my weekly podcast rotation!
Best podcast ever!

I’m an info junkie, and I know that all the info on this podcast is TRUE and researched. It’s fun to listen to it as it is not just one person talking (reading) about something. And no politics. Just some really weird and interesting facts. Love it!
