*On pause recording season 2! :)*
I help people who’ve had their heart broken by unmet expectations and failed fairytales to find a spark of courage - inviting them to shake off the dust of the world, create conscious relationships and step into vibrant, joyful living.
Together, we’ll explore human connection - not just romantic relationships, but the relationship to ourselves, to others and even to the divine.
I’ll be sharing wisdom I’ve picked up along my homeward journey, off-the-cuff conversations with strangers and friends, and I'll even bring poetry and music into the conversation.

Egrets by Mary Oliver
Where the path closed
down and over,
through the scumbled leaves,
fallen branches,
through the knotted catbrier,
I kept going. Finally
I could not
save my arms
from thorns; soon
the mosquitoes
smelled me, hot
and wounded, and came
wheeling and whining.
And that's how I came
to the edge of the pond:
black and empty
except for a spindle
of bleached reeds
at the far shore
which, as I looked,
wrinkled suddenly
into three egrets - - -
a shower
of white fire!
Even half-asleep they had
such faith in the world
that had made them - - -
tilting through the water,
unruffled, sure,
by the laws
of their faith not logic,
they opened their wings
softly and stepped
over every dark thing.

"Sweet Darkness" by David Whyte
When your eyes are tiredthe world is tired also.
When your vision has gone,no part of the world can find you.
Time to go into the darkwhere the night has eyesto recognize its own.
There you can be sureyou are not beyond love.
The dark will be your hometonight.
The night will give you a horizonfurther than you can see.
You must learn one thing. The world was made to be free in.
Give up all the other worldsexcept the one to which you belong.
Sometimes it takes darkness and the sweetconfinement of your alonenessto learn
anything or anyonethat does not bring you alive
is too small for you.

Dana's Music
To recap, here are the simple takeaways:
Just because your life doesn’t look the way you thought it would look by now does not mean something is wrong with you. You are unique, and when embraced, you’ll find the beauty in your unraveling story.
The questions are normal. The unresolved places in your heart don’t need to be solved today or tomorrow or this year. What would it look like to step fully into your life before the questions are answered?
Quote:
“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.”
