Talking to Trees with Dawn Meadows

When Dawn Meadows consulted a rowan tree in Glastonbury some years ago, it talked right back to her. What it had to say led to the creation of her pagan and magical fayres to build community by returning to the roots of the nature-based ways of witchcraft. She has not looked back, and since 2019, Dawn has grown her family-run business, Earth Spirit Events, across Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk in the UK. With fierce determination and true warrior spirit, Dawn is proving that success always comes to those who hold fast to their intentions and work their magic primarily to share with others. By going back to the roots of her own craft, she is paving the way for others to discover and enjoy the ways of the witch by making witchcraft and paganism accessible to all. This year, she is branching out with more events, some two and three-day's long, with opportunities for traders and performers alike to share their magic with the community she has worked so hard to build. The Magic of Fenix Flames with Angela Barker

Angela Barker started up a handmade witchcraft products business seven years ago with her friend Sarah Louise Kay and a shared passion for all things magical. Their combined knowledge and experience with herbs, candles, oils, sprays and crystals became Fenix Flames, expanding into a publishing company for Pagan authors within the first eighteen months. But the huge loss of Sarah's unexpected passing in 2019 has not deterred Angela from carrying on in her honour. Angela now produces all the handmade magical products designed with her own recipes, including the original recipes that the friends created together. As well as travelling and trading at witchcraft shows and festivals around the country, Angela also teaches workshops on the craft, runs a tarot and reiki practice, and is currently the largest supplier in the UK with her loose incense, handmade for all kinds of magical purposes. And when she's not creating magic, teaching or travelling, Angela enjoys life at home with her wife, Claudine, and their three cats...
