Why does it seem like every book written for teen girls was about being rich and mean to each other? And why were we so obsessed with them? Each week best friends Clare and Courtney will unpack these questions while turning back the pages on the books we love to hate. Are you in or are you out?

Royal Wedding: Why Won't He Marry Mia?
Royal fever is at an all time high, with Will & Kate newly wed, and Netflix's The Crown only a few short years from premier. It is understandable, then, that Mia must wed. But to whom? And can she make it up the alter, or will her father's foibles foil her plan? Season 6 ends in a party, just like every book in almost each season!
-
Forever Princess: Put the C*nt in Contribution
We are slowly making our way through Mia's backlogs of diaries. This episode, Mia rehashes old plots and new lies. She tackles the most import life question of "where will I go to college?" Which we all know is so important (not!) There's a graduation, an election, and many gifts are given, even precious ones. Hint hint. It is the end of an era.

Princess Mia: Deez Knutz
Every princess wants her knight in shining armor, but Mia’s true love might just save her in flaming poly blend. Alliances shift and conspiracies build in this epic penultimate book. Will Genovia survive? Will Mia?
-
Princess on the Brink: Toky-oh No He Didn't!
Michael is prepared to protect the One Ring with his life in this book. Or at least that is what Mia would like to think. In a very convoluted metaphor where the Ring is Mia's...... v-card, we guess? Michael betrays Mia in a way that might end them forever. Can they do long distance, or will this be the straw that breaks the robots back?
-
Sweet Sixteen Princess: MTV aka Mia The Victim
Mia is 16 going on jailbait in this chronologically correct novella. While this book may not be entirely worth a read, there are a few key points worth learning. Will Lilly sour her relationship with too much affection? And will Mia be forced on MTV against her will?
-
Party Princess: Children of the Corn Chili
We’re racing through the school year due to a clerical error on our part, much like Mia’s crucial budget issues as Student Body President. Can a short story about corn and a musical about hair save the day? What we will say is that we will have a lot to say.

Fun nostalgia ride
I was OBSESSED with The Clique and Gossip Girl books when I was a tween and teen, so I’ve really loved listening to this podcast! It’s a great trip down memory lane of how crazy, but fun these books were.
Give it a listen
I was obsessed with the Clique books back in middle school, but I never had anyone to discuss these books with as a child. The Witty Committee completely makes up for it! I adore this podcast. I’m loving the direction Clare and Courtney took this podcast after reviewing the whole series (and movie!)
Love the Trip Back in time to Middle School
Best part of my Thursdays are the new episodes!!! Re-reading TWC books now and having this podcast to listen to is simply great. Courtney and Clare are very entertaining to listen to. Highly recommend giving them a listen.
