Complex, fascinating story but flawed

I’d give this podcast 4.5 stars if that was an option. I love the stories and how deep LB’s research goes. The counterintuitive real history is a surprise compared to the Mob books and movies we assume are correct. It’s a shame the Trump supporters are so upset by the facts: he is third generation Mob and everyone from NYC knew that for years! His name is all over the wiretaps from Mafia investigations!

The reason I can’t give five stars is sometimes LB loses her own plot. It’s a complex story and she doesn’t always return to the main thread from her many tangents. I will definitely listen to future seasons; I just hope she can tighten things up better.

Amazing

We all knew Chetolini had mob connections, but Oh My God! LB really ties it together in a deeply interwoven connecting of the dots. You have to pay attention while listening, every little detail is important and comes back around full circle later in the story. Still waiting anxiously for season 2.

Incredible work

Probably the best podcast I’ve ever listened to. I learned so much listening to this. Very eye opening. I can’t wait for season two.
