In 2008, I co-authored an article in the English Journal called "The Five-Paragraph Essay and the Deficit Model of Education." I have not let up since on my mission to eradicate this "form" of writing so often used in schools. In today's episode I dive into:

    1. What the 5-paragraph essay is

    2. Why schools use it

    3. The issues with it and why it actually doesn't help young writers

    4. How it may be impacting your book writing (or any writing) as an adult

    Episode 51: Mini-Book + Micro-Course = Legacy

In today's episode, I'm going to break down the 3 steps you need to begin crafting the blueprint to launch your legacy through a resource and a course.

Vulnerably Authentic

Shana’s work with writers is innovative and effective. I know because she is my coach. I’ve read Halinka’s book and it is a perfect tool to assist us to become who we really are. Shana and her team are a group of REAL people who understand the real issues writers and wannabe writers have and they are supportive and more helpful than any coach or instructor I’ve ever had.

awsome stuff! ,
