RED-S: Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport - Dr Lamia

RED-S or formerly known as the Female Athlete Triad doesn't just happen in athletes - both women and men (albeit less so) are susceptible to this when there is an imbalance in the calories going out vs calories coming in. 10 Days In Mental Prison

What 10 days in mental prison felt like... I was looking forward to a nice "meditation retreat" for ten days to just take a break from life; however, didn't quite realise how intense a course in vipassana meditation would actually be. 100 hours of meditating in 10 days is no small feat, not to mention we weren't allowed to talk to anyone either! This experience was one of the hardest things I've had to do to date, however, it is something I would still recommend people try. Vipassana teaches you to see reality how it is, not how it should be.
