Seth Andrews, a former Christian broadcaster and believer for 30 years, ultimately escaped the bonds of superstitious thinking to embrace the more satisfying explanations that science provides.
A professional video producer and host of one of the most popular atheist communities on the internet, Seth Andrews brings a polished format, a relaxed environment and a rage-free challenge to the religious beliefs that defined his youth.
The Atheist Handbook to the Old Testament (with Dr. Joshua Bowen)
Atheists often speak about the contradictions and atrocities rampant throughout the Bible, but they often enter those conversations without all of the information. Assyriologist Dr. Joshua Bowen is author of the new book, "The Atheist Handbook to the Old Testament: Volume One" (https://amzn.to/3xcdVqM), and he joins us for some prime examples of how we can know more and be better when talking about the Christian scriptures.

Belief and the Brain: a Psychiatrist and a Neuroscientist on Evolution and Religion

Fall River: Death and the Devil in a Massachusetts Town
The Epix Network just released the new 4-part docuseries, "Fall River," which chronicles the murders of 3 women against the backdrop of the Satanic Panic. Awesome content and always enjoyable. If new to Seth / The Thinking Atheist I recommend the episode What Christians (Probably) Don’t Know About Christmas.
Soothing, reasonable Atheist voice
Seth is unlike most Atheists. He does not back you into a corner or get your hackles up. He is the most calm reasonable person I listen to. Even staunch Christians would like him given a chance.
Thank goodness for these champions of thought.
That was a review a wrote years ago. I can’t say that anymore. Seth traded one harmful ideology for another. I’m so tired of people on all sides nut picking the worst of the “other”. We don’t live in a binary world.
