I love this podcast, I listen as I drive to the barn and it's as if I have two great friends chatting in the back seat! It is such a stellar mix - a Sports Psychology PHD (or soon to be) and a 5* Eventer and whether you are a professional, amateur or just recreational rider (like myself) I highly recommend it! Tyler mentioned this is a recent episode and I completely agree -bringing her expertise as a sports psychologist to the equestrian community is very helpful as there are challenges unique to riding (traumas, risk factors etc) that do not exist in many sports so the typical focus of performance anxiety is not a wide enough scope. Emily is equally inspiring and her mantra (I may be paraphrasing) "We have a great partnership, we can do hard things and we thrive under pressure," I use regularly! I also really appreciate their transparency and candor around their own journeys, they share both the wins and the lessons learned. A creature of habit, I enjoy the structure of word of the year, goals, books, topic and grooming and training tips. (I'm constantly adding their recommendations to my wish list of books.) The podcast is exciting and entertaining, educational and inspiring. Thank you Emily and Tyler!
