McKayla was preparing for the arrival of her unborn child on July 4th, this would be her first child unfortunately McKayla would never get the chance to hold her baby for the first time. Just four days after going missing McKayla's body was found lying in a ditch.

On that day, Brittany told her mom she was going to the corner store and would be right back. Brittany left in a 2000 silver Chrysler Concorde and 10 days later her body was found.
