    Queen of Sinking Ships: The Extraordinary Life of Violet Jessop

    This episode of Tiltta explores the extraordinary life of Violet Constance Jessop, who experienced some of the most notable maritime disasters of the early 20th century. Her position as a stewardess on ocean liners led to her experiences of turmoil on the RMS Olympic, the Titanic and HMHS Britannic .  Violet emerged as a symbol of bravery, later serving as a nurse in World War II and earning her the title "Queen of Sinking Ships." Violet retired to a quiet life on a farm in Southampton and passed away peacefully at the age of 83.
