Highs and Lows
This podcast has a pretty good message and I thought it was what I was looking for. The host to genuinely believe in libertarian and atheistic ideas. He is a great speaker, respectful to his guests, and touches in important topics. I appreciate his level minded approach, tempered passion, and seemingly open mind.
However after a few episodes I'm going to stop listening. The biggest issues I have is his use of clear logical fallacies, exaggeration, and lack of moderate opinion on the topics I listened to. Smaller things are production issues like noticeable edit points, music overlaps being loud and unclean, and not feeling like I knew what was going to happen throughout the show. I know the host will want me to be more specific, but I admittedly am not invested enough to defend specifics.
Far From the Truth
I am currently undergoing training to become a CASA and this couldn't be more contradictory from what I am being taught. Having first hand experience and a multi racial class of volunteers including myself there are people wanting to help children and CASA is a wonderful program to help you accomplish that goal.
Finally some truth
My highest respect and admiration to Carlos M for having the ball$ and courage to speak out about the disgusting practices of DCFS/CPS. From a parent who has been through the falsely-accused nightmare, I have such appreciation for this man who is putting an intelligent and qualified voice to the corruption of the USA family court system.
